Two young people in the age of 15 have received life-threatening injuries after a canoe accident in Ånnsjön west of Åre.
– They have flown by helicopter to hospital in Trondheim, says Hans Ängquist, duty officer at the police in Jamtland, said.
The alarm about the accident came shortly before 17 on Tuesday. The young people participated in a confirmation camp.
A total of six people ended up in the water when at least one canoe capsized. Three of them could get up themselves. The three are refrigerated and transported to hospital in Östersund.
The other three persons were rescued from the water by rescue services. On them were there in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. One of them was also conducted to Östersund while the other two were flown to Trondheim in Norway, reported several media.
