Sick leave has risen by 60 percent since 2010. And the growth continues according to new figures from the Social Insurance Agency, reports SR echo.
The government has been in talks with the social partners in the spring to find solutions to the situation.
– Now we will go forward with a number of proposals in the autumn to strengthen this and to curb the inflow of health insurance, says Minister for Social Annika Strandhäll (S).
