A tourist bus crashed in the opening Klara Tunnel on Thursday morning.
The roof was peeled off completely – but no passengers were sitting in the bus.
– The bus was caught, says Albin Birch bark Berg at the Stockholm police.
A motorcycle driver were slightly injured in connection with the incident and the bus driver was taken to hospital for monitoring.
The police got into the event at 07:39. Then had a tourist bus stuck in Bright Tunnel in central Stockholm.
Pictures showing how the bus’s upper section is completely demolished. But luckily sat no passengers in the bus.
– The bus got stuck in the tunnel, and was caught, says Albin Birch bark Berg at the Stockholm police.
“Completely unadorned”
A motorcycle driver was injured in the accident, but the damage will be mild. The bus driver was taken to hospital for monitoring.
– He was a little shocked, says Linda Ulfves the Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade.
Niklas Virving was on his way to work and drove past just after the accident occurred.
– I hope no one was sitting there, the roof of the bus was completely stripped down, he said.
The bus got stuck 100 meters into the tunnel.
– It must having gone quickly when the bus is not stopped until 100 meters into, he said.

The accident occurred in the northbound direction.
The bus has been transported away but the tunnel’s entrance , in the northbound direction remains closed due to repair work.
– The roof sits signage and lighting and little of each fallen down, says Albin Birch bark Berg at the Stockholm police.
The traffic is calculated be running normally again at 12 o’clock.
– It is completely stopped in the northbound direction of the tunnel. We recommend that you take Klarastrandsleden or Herkulesgatan instead meanwhile, says Albin Birch bark Mountains.
