All deaths in Gothenburg unexplained – Sveriges Radio

In nearly two years, police in Gothenburg had its special commanding the gang war as the language police are called “special event”. That means that in two years has had all the resources at their disposal and that other police and law enforcement have been put back.

Still, they have not passed up one of the 21 deaths in the gang war.

– When it comes to solving crimes, one can say this, that it has been a very, very difficult thing, and this I think is important to explain, if one a murder that takes place outside of a gang environment for example, so it’s usually people who know each other, have a relationship and maybe even know each other very closely, says Robert Karlsson.

Robert Karlsson is the chief investigator for serious crimes on Police in the West region. He is also the deputy commanding chief and head of the police’s special operation against gang war.

– When they apply these events then, we have not quite the same help, says Robert Karlsson.

More than 70 people has been shot damaged, 17, shot to death and four have been blasted to death. It shows a mapping program in the legal name have made. Yet nobody has been convicted.

But perhaps statistics can be improved on something soon. For three people sitting now in custody for a double homicide at a restaurant on Vårväderstorget in March this year.

If convicted, are two of 21 deaths solved.

I am going to a special event will cost the very much more money for taxpayers if it hardly gives anything earnings when compared to how it is when there is a special event then what is the point of having it?

– Yes, but it has paid off it’s just that it’s very difficult to show, Robert Karlsson.
