Girls found the dead woman in bathing – Expressen

Two girls in the age of ten found on Wednesday a dead woman reeds in a bathing area outside Nybro.

– We suspect currently no crime, say police press officer Kim Hild.

Just after 15 o’clock on Wednesday joined the girls down to a lake outside Nybro. They would only feel the bath temperature but instead made a horrific discovery. In the reeds lay a dead woman’s body.

The girls ran directly out of the water and stopped a passing woman on horseback, who alerted the police and ambulance.

– They were very shocked, says Kim Hild .

Police and rescue services were quickly on the scene and found that the woman was deceased. The girls were taken care of and was comforted in place.

– We see it right now like a drowning accident and suspect no crime at present, but we can not exclude it either. We must examine the body closer to see that no crime has been committed, said Kim Hild.

Not detected

According to Bengt Sigmer, the rescue team leader in place, the body should not have been long in water.

– It is about an elderly woman who has been found, he said.

The woman has not yet been identified, according to police. The body will be investigated to determine cause of death.

– At present we do not know who the woman is, says Kim Hild.
