A man was shot in the leg by police at nine times on Friday. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
The incident occurred at the North Mountain in Söderhamn. A police patrol was called to the scene because of that one man walked around and beat on things and was aggressive even toward people. He had weapons he struck about him with. The man was reported to be under the influence of both alcohol and pills.
When the police arrived at the scene to be the man to have gone against them with a stabbing.
Police writes on their website that they must have sprayed with OC spray but that it had not effect on the man. The man continued to walk toward the police, aggressively. That’s when another policeman fires his service weapon and hit the man in the leg. The man falls over and the police may then arrest him.
They call for an ambulance and the man brought to the hospital. He is initially arrested for aggravated assault and monitored in the hospital.
The suspect is 25 year old has tidigre convicted of multiple violent crimes and even violence against the officer.
No additional person has been physically damaged in associated with the event.
