69-year-old prosecuted for weapons collection – Vasterbotten Courier

When the police took the 69-year-old man’s house in Småland municipality found, among other things, more than 150 rifles, 45 sawed-off shotguns, 230 pistols, 20 harpoons – and an old artillery cannon.

Now prosecuted the man suspected of serious weapons offenses, says SVT News Jonkoping.

It was in February last year as police made a search of the man’s home. It had then for a long time asked to come in and check on the 557 weapons the man had a license, were stored. The man had refused and instead pulled his gun licenses submitted.

According to 69-year-old, who is a former reservist, is the only motive of the armory that he is a “collector”. According to the man’s lawyer, he considers himself not to have committed any intentional offense.

Folds 69-year-old, he risks a prison sentence of between one and four years.
