Car has run down into the Torne River – Aftonbladet

A passenger has an unknown reason been run down in the Torne River in northern Sweden.

Both the Swedish and Finnish rescue services are in place.

One person has transferred by helicopter to hospital in Gällivare with unclear injured mode.

Just after 17 came the alarm about a car for unknown reasons has been run into the Torne River in northern Sweden, right on the border between Sweden and Finland.

Both the Finnish and Swedish rescue services were in place in Pello, north of Övertorneå.

Unclear injured mode

One person has been to the hospital in Gällivare by ambulance, according to police.

At present, the press service of Norrbotten County Council no information about the person’s condition.
