Police looking for bargains after the shootings in Malmö – Expressen

The shootings occurred on Monday room at Ramels road in Malmö district Rosengård.

– Shots have been fired at a residence, said Kim Hild, press officer at the police control center.

The alarm came to police at 9:58 on Monday morning when a person had heard shots fired.

Once in place, the police could confirm that it was about a shooting at an apartment high up in a skyscraper at Ramels way in Rosengård.

– Shots have been fired at a residence. If the person living there was at home are unclear, says Kim Hild.



None found damaged

No one person is reported to have been injured in connection with the incident.

– It is about three to five shots with a handgun. There is nothing to suggest automatic weapons, says Fredrik Svensson, external command.

Is there a threat against the person who lives in the apartment?

– That I will not comment, said Fredrik Svensson.

Past shootings

Today’s shootings took place on the same farm as the shootings that took place on 7 June. The next day, June 8, arrested 27 people following a second shooting at another farm on Ramel’s path. A 18-year old man was arrested then, on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police would not say if today’s shootings are related to the earlier shootings.

– It is too early to tell, says Kim Hild.

Took the bike seized

In the vicinity of the site of the shooting found a bicycle with a covering of which the police seized.

– We want to make a more detailed examination of the said Kim Hild.
