Norrbotten worse than the average on the clear up of rape – Swedish Radio

Police and prosecutors in Norrbotten are less able to cope up rapes than the national average.

About 15 percent of the rapes reported in Norrbotten leads to an offender can be bound to the crime.

The average for all counties in Sweden is 20 percent, according to a new study by the think tank Safer Sweden and the compound together.

In Västernorrland

managed just over 40 per cent of reported rapes up, Vasterbotten only nine percent.
