Younger brother is released – Aftonbladet

SKÖVDE / STOCKHOLM Now the prosecutor has taken the decision on the brothers suspected of the murder of Lisa Holm; 17.

The younger brother is released and the elder requested omhäktad – and negotiations are expected on Tuesday.

Last 11 o’clock today must Lars-Göran Wennerholm, deputy chief prosecutor in Skovde, request that the two Lithuanian brothers suspected of the murder of Lisa Holm gets omhäktade.

Indeed, it has been two weeks ago the brothers, 31 and 35 years old, was arrested on probable cause suspected of the crime.

Requests omhäktad

Prosecutor Lars-Göran Wennerholm has now decided that the younger brother should be released, while the older is requested omhäktad.

– The recent investigations have strengthened suspicions against the older brother. Among other things, forensic evidence, said Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lars-Göran Wennerholm in a press release.

However, the suspicions against the younger brother weakened.

– There is no longer any need for him to be custody and I have therefore decided that he should be set free, says Lars-Göran Wennerholm.

detention hearings will be held in Skaraborg District Court during the day.

So far, police and prosecutors were very secretive about the investigation.

The two brothers deny the crimes, and has previously appealed the arrest of the Gota Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal ruled, however, the detention order.

The men’s lawyers have been coated with yppandeförbud. But the 31-year-old’s representative has indicated to the Göteborgs-Posten that he expects the man to be released on the loose today.

A 34-year-old woman, who is married to one of the men, sat previously arrested for involvement in the case. She is suspected of protecting the criminal, but was released last week. The woman has left the country. The suspicions against her remains.



Lisa disappeared June 7

It was on the evening of 7 June as Lisa Holm would take the moped home to Skovde from his job at a coffee shop in Blomberg. But the 17-year-old never came home. A massive sökpådrag began. Five days later she was found dead.
