Two men 20-25 years old were injured and taken by ambulance to the hospital after a serious assault to Frölunda on Monday evening.
Men have knifed and one victim has serious injuries.
– We got a lot of alarm about the incident as it happened in the middle of the square, said Ulf Lörstad, assistant duty officer at the police in the Western Region.
The police were alerted via SOS Alarm at 23.30 on Monday evening.
– The alarm was a man who was stabbed in the abdomen outside the Seven Eleven and Espresso House. He was bleeding a lot, says Ulf Lörstad, assistant duty officer at the police Western Region.
– We could then say that there were two men in the 20-25-year-old who was stabbed, he explains.
Two perpetrators disappeared from the scene after the beating. Ulf Lörstad says there is talk that people have been running and chasing each other outdoors in the square.
The police was just before one in the morning still in place to Frölunda to interrogate witnesses and searching for the perpetrators.
– Both victims are hospitalized. One of them is seriously injured, and the other has less serious injuries, says Tommy Samuelsson, internal command at kriminaljouren in Gothenburg.
