20-year-old admits Christmas Eve bomb – Expressen

Malmo. A 20-year-old man has admitted that it was he who blew up a bomb on Christmas Eve at the real estate Victoria Park office at Ramels road, writes Sydsvenskan.se.

He admitted during the trial against him began today Malmö District Court.

The 20-year-old has until now denied any involvement in the bombing but chose therefore to alone bear the full responsibility for the blast which occurred at 18 o’clock on Christmas Eve last year.

He also confessed to have built a fire.

The 20-year-old is also charged with two other explosions in Rosengård. One occurred at the Victoria Park office on 20 December. The second occurred on 21 December. He denies having been involved in these two.

Mikael Nilsson is the defense lawyer for 20-year-old:

– My client does not want anyone innocent should suffer because he chooses to recognize the bombing on Christmas. He also acknowledges a fire in a garbage room.

The 20-year-old, however, comment on the rubric of crimes.

– He is accused of gross devastation endangering the public, but considers it only moves of devastation endangering the public, continues Mikael Nilsson.

Another five defendants

In addition to the 20 year old is five people also accused of complicity in the bombing on December 24 against the Victoria Park office.

The 20-year-old is a heavy criminal record and appear in a series of judgments concerning among other violent crimes, but also abuse of judicial procedure, therefore, that witnesses have been threatened if they contact the police or testify in court.

Similar threats have expressed by 20-year-old in the investigation of the explosions. The threats have been made in the handwritten letter that according to police, written by the accused 20-year-old.



Injuries to 1 million

The reason for the explosions to be under indictment be that including the 20 year old family evicted from their apartment by the property.

The police investigation of the explosions has been extensive. In the evidence available including phone tapping and SMS.

One of the accused is a 15-year-old who has been detained since New Year’s Eve. He is indirectly related to the 20-year-old.

The 15-year-old implicated by the investigation to have been the person who had placed the explosives on Christmas Eve.

Blasting has caused damage of around 1 million .
