Wild boar on slippery ice was assisted by skaters – Göteborgs-Posten

Helpless wild boar on slippery ice rescued by skaters.

Långfärdsskrinnarna was out on the ice when they discovered something strange.

– I saw them from afar. It looked like four black bags that were out on the bay.

When I got closer, they discovered that the “bags” were four boars scattered on the ice with ungefär100 meters between each other.

– They could not get them on. They behaved really like Bambi on slippery ice, says Jakob König from Danderyd Tour Skaters who filmed the event.

The wild boars had no grip on ice and were helpless, he tells Natursidan.se.

– They were exhausted and almost looked to have given up. When we got close to one of them hissed and spat on and tried to lunge at us, but it got no grip in the ice, he says to Nature page.

But beached boar is no problem for the resourceful skater.

With the help of their staffs helped Jacob and his skating friends about to putt into the wild pigs to the country, like curling stones. All four were rescued.
