Train services running again after fire on X2000 trains – Swedish Dagbladet

– It is a fully developed fire in the train, and a large amount of oil coming out of the locomotive. Right now the three forces to extinguish the severe fire, but it may take up to 2-3 hours, said fire chief Hans Ingbert at the emergency services in Eastern Skaraborg to SvD at 15:20 o’clock.

It is still unclear what caused the fire, but SJ will to make a technical assessment of the event.

– It may take a few days, possibly weeks. Therefore, we can not currently answer what caused the fire, says SJ’s press communicator Alejandro Soler to SvD.

Soler says that passengers are entitled to compensation.

– They are guaranteed receive compensation for his detention, but if it gets anything beyond that is difficult to answer right now, he says.
