A man in his 50s has died in an accident at a medical device company in Umeå. The man got stuck in the door of a värmeautoklav, a space where objects are sterilized at high temperatures.
– He was pinned in the door, but he was crushed to death or died as a result of the heat development we do not know says Uno Nilsson, duty officer at the police in Västerbotten.
the police have drawn up a report on health and safety violations and manslaughter and carries out a forensic examination of the scene of the accident.
