A young couple was rescued on Wednesday from a swamp drama outside Vanersborg.
The young people were lost in just over an hour in the pitch-black darkness.

– There are the paths and other things, but you are out there now it’s not funny. There are several swamps and woods are dense. This does not feel good, the woman told me.

– We managed to get an approximate position on them and were out in the woods with quite a lot of people shouting and shone flashlights, said incident commander Peter Grönros.

The young people were examined by paramedics at the scene.
– I understand they were safe and sound, but I do not know if they were running to the hospital for control or not, says Grönros.
