The cheat and accused surgeon Paolo Macchiarini at Karolinska Institutet has received a lawyer, Bjorn Hurtig from Boras.
Macchiarini is accused of research misconduct, but also for aggravated manslaughter, grievous bodily harm.
– He feels extremely bad right now, says Björn Hurtig to P4 Sjuhärad of his client.
Paolo Macchiarini are now at a secret location, waiting for what the police will come up in their investigation.
– He’s had a good purpose, just wanted to help people. Now he is scandalized and portrayed throughout the world. That’s what he says to me, says Bjorn Hurtig.
A few years ago defended Bjorn Hurtig, a pediatrician at the Karolinska University Hospital, who was accused of having caused the baby’s death.
