Housing shortage in nearly 250 municipalities – Swedish Dagbladet

– We have a substantial population increase now and it will in the short term, exacerbating the problems in the housing market so more people will feel that they have a housing shortage, says Bengt Hansson, analyst at the National Board of Housing, to SVT.

only three municipalities that SVT talked to report a surplus of housing: Haparanda, Åsele and Hultsfred.

According to the Board’s latest assessment needed 700,000 new homes in Sweden until 2025.
