A 31-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of having built a fire in a mosque in Boras, writes bt.se. The man, who was arrested earlier this week, denies the offense. According to the prosecutor, the man has stated in interviews that he does not harbor negative opinions about Muslims.
The mosque was badly damaged in the fire that occurred during the night to 17 January. A surveillance camera at a nearby gas station shows how a person filled the bottles with gasoline just before the fire, but the prosecutor would not comment on the pictures show the man now in custody.
