A 60-meter wide avalanche was triggered on Saturday afternoon at Hovdehögen at Bydalen few mil south of Åre.

the avalanche was triggered by skiers. Mountain Rescuers pulled out, but quickly realized that no one has been drawn into the avalanche.

up a meter of fresh snow and drevsnö located on the lees in the area and the Environmental Protection Agency warns of considerable avalanche danger.
