It is slippery in many parts of the country during the morning. SMHI warns of ice covering on the roads in large parts of western Sweden, Svealand, southern Norrland and the whole Norrland coast.
The rain that pulled eastward across Sweden yesterday is the cause. Far to the north came partly as snow.
– Since the weather cleared up pretty quickly and the temperature dropped to minus. Then there is a risk that wet roads freezes, says Sofia Soderberg, a meteorologist at SMHI.
Until the day expected temperature rise to above zero.
– But locally on smaller roads can probably continued difficult conditions, says Soderberg.
