More than one in four non-vegetarian in Sweden plan to eat more vegetarian diet in the future, it shows a Sifo survey that Weight Watchers has ordered.
Also, eating already almost half of all carnivores vegetarian one or more times a week. This is especially the younger ones who regularly skip the meat.
In the 15-34 year, 52 percent to eat vegetarian one or more days a week, compared with 36 percent among 56-79 year olds. 41 percent of the younger said they plan to eat less meat in the future, compared with only 19 percent of the elderly.
Five percent of respondents said they were helvegetarianer. More than 1000 people were included in the survey.
