Three police cars were injured in a car chase in southern Sweden during the night of Boxing Day. The wild chase began when a motorist suspected of having been drugged refused to stop at a routine checkup at Route 23 outside Hoor, reports Sydsvenskan.
Instead, the driver put the foot on the gas and continued at high speed to the north. Not even the police outsourced spike mat could stop the man, who the fly hit and damaged three patrol cars.
In the end, the police stopped the car driver, a man in their 30s, who has now been arrested and suspected of gross negligence driving, drug driving and drug offenses.
