Aftonbladet has taken note of the email from the FP office’s director, David Lindberg December 11 was sent to the City of Stockholm’s protocol Svante Hådell and where the party explains that the meeting be held in Stockholm on 24 January. It reads:

“For this reason we wonder if it is possible to City Hall organizes and represents buffet or the like for the more than 600 participants on the evening of 24 January.”

Hådell states of the newspaper that he told FP that there can be no such party.

 - I replied that it was not because we do not support the guidelines that govern public representation. Mainly, we will use our representations money to clinics where more than half of the visitors from abroad, says Svante Hådell.

He does not want to further speculate about the cost of a buffet party on the scale FP meeting would require.

The Liberal Party has now instead booked adjacent Stockholm Waterfront for their event. Aftonbladet has sought FP representatives for comment, without success.
