Löfvens patience is over – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Löfvens patience is over – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

After the most turbulent political autumn in a few decades will also Stefan Löfven take the opportunity celebrate Christmas. It gets in the summer house at Örnsköldsvik. Miljöombytet makes Löfven can relax, despite the fact that a new election is waiting in March.

– Everyone needs relaxation, then it says the Prime Minister in a TT interview.

Stefan Löfven usually a quiet, sometimes a bit leisurely look. But during the turbulence surrounding the budget, he roared to. The leaves did it when SD announced that they plan to try to stop every budget which increased immigration.

– The language of power, the absolute power, the arrogance of the Swedish Parliament, it makes me really really angry, he said.

Bitterness towards the Alliance is also noticeable. Löfven think he made every effort to bring about a block border co-operation, thus avoiding political chaos. But he has not managed to get the alliance parties to the negotiating table, even though he says he has put up “taxes and fees and all areas of spending” on the table for discussion.

– If you get no all the time it takes patience out any Again says Löfven.

Stefan Löfven claims he already when he was elected to the S-leaders in 2012 was rejected by the three smaller alliance parties. He had the letter to party leaders wrote that he would like to meet and talk. Only then Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt (M) received.

– The other three on the civil side did not even respond. It is strange to me. A very strange behavior, says Löfven.

He thinks he developed as a politician, but argues that man Stefan Löfven are the same, despite the harsh tone of politics.

– As a person believes I do not think I’ve changed. Ulla (wife) have not said anything in any case.

But everyday life is different. The leaves have bodyguards with him wherever he goes and recently he moved from his bedroom apartment to the Prime Minister’s residence Sager house.

– I think you can really live in and make their mark. Get their books in the bookcase, it feels good, he says.

The former welder’s ability to stay out in the Sager decided in extra elections on 22 March. It is a choice critics say is premature and suspect that Löfven agreed in affect for budget defeat.

– It was not that we decided it when you pressed the buttons in the parliament, it is completely wrong. It’s clear that you go and weigh it for several days, said the Prime Minister.

The extra election is necessary, argues Löfven. But if the election results beds for the same chaos that today remains only cooperation across the block boundary, according to him.

– We can not keep on having elections every year or six months, says Löfven.
