Car caught fire – on railway wagons – Aftonbladet

A man in his 20s caught fire after climbing on a train carriage on Monday.

– He has died of his injuries, says Jenny Widén, spokesperson at Police in West Bengal.

The alarm came shortly before the bell 17 on Monday.

A young man had climbed up on a train wagon standing on Kvilletorget yard in Gothenburg.

– This is a person who has climbed on a train and come in contact with an overhead line. This person began to burn, says Lennart Mossberg at the Swedish Transport Administration’s press office.



Stood on trolley

According to the emergency services, the person standing on a train wagon and caught fire during an alarm call.

– The person must have caught fire during the call, says Anders Helmborn.

– When we got there the person left on the cart. We made sure that there is no voltage together with the Swedish Transport Administration and goes up and takes down the person.



Extensive train stop

The exposed person, a young man in his 20s, died later of their damage.

– We do not know exactly how it happened. He came in contact with a live wire, but the circumstances are unclear, says Jenny Widén, spokesperson for the police in West Bengal.

Transport Administration says that the incident led to a train stop between Gothenburg Central and Kode on Bohusbanan.

– It may last all night, says Lennart Mossberg.
