The 56-year-old man suspected of assaulting his 51-year-old ex-boyfriend to death outside Höganäs in the spring, suffering not of a serious mental disorder. Thus, he can be sentenced to prison.

Helsingborg District Court has already stated that the man is guilty of murder. Prosecutor Carolina Bernal Diaz will press for life imprisonment when the trial ends on Tuesday.
Femtiosexåringen broke into the victim, assaulted her in the bedroom, took a stranglehold and stabbed her with a knife. The woman had previously managed to alert the police and the earlier the same day, applied for the contact banning the offender.
