Heavy fire in the row of garages – Aftonbladet

Helsingborg. Several cars were totally destroyed in a major fire in a row of garages in residential Björka in Ödåkra northeast of Helsingborg on Sunday.

The fire started in one of the cars in the garage. Then the owner at midday would start the car bang and began to burn.

At least five cars, maybe more, were thoroughly fire-damaged. Another few survived, perhaps with smoke and sotskador, says Lennart Nilsson, staff fire chief in Helsingborg.

What was wrong in the first car is unclear.
