Stockholm. Billion Investment in targeted state grants to school has the lowest extent gone to the schools that need them most, according to a review by the National Audit as Swedish Dagbladet has taken note of.

The purpose of government money has been to improve the quality of the school. But schools with low academic achievement often takes not part of the contributions. The risk of increasing disparities in school, warns the National Audit who now criticize the National Agency for not having analyzed the issue at the school level.

– We think you should monitor and analyze the schools and principals who take part of the targeted contributions, so that the government gets a better basis for assessment, says Auditor Margaret Atkins told SvD.
