Swedish interrogated in the international crackdown – Swedish Radio

The Swedish police, together with 17 other countries participated in a global campaign and shut down an online forum Darkode a meeting place for IT crime.

More than 60 people must have been arrested in the raid, which was led by the FBI.

The Swedish police have made a raid against a man in western Sweden.

– After the interview was conducted was our person free to go, says Martin Hemnington, police inspector at the IT crime section.

The man is still suspect, but police want at the moment do not go into detail about what the man is suspected. Police have launched a preliminary investigation.

The FBI describes the law worldwide as the largest ever cooperation against cybercrime.
