Löfven KU notification – Aftonbladet

Åsa Romson (MP) is the Deputy Prime Minister. But she is not the one who replaces Prime Minister Stephen Löfven (S) when he is unable to perform its task.

– It is very important that the Swedish people and also the outside world are clear who represents the government, says Conservative January Ericson, now KU notified the Prime Minister, the Swedish Television News.

After Prime Minister Stephen Löfven (S) earlier this week became urgent taken to hospitals the question was raised as to who will replace him if he is unable to perform its task.

Many people thought that it is Åsa Romson, Deputy Prime Minister, who then takes over. But since she is not formally appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister is, Margot Wallström who has the assignment.

– I think it’s very important that the Swedish people and also the outside world are clear who represents the government and leading government work unless the prime minister can do this. Åsa Romson are on the government website appointed Deputy Prime Minister, and now it turns out that she is not formally so. So we can not have it, says Jan Ericson (M) to SVT News.

Reports to KU

Now, the moderate MP notified Stefan Löfven Constitutional Committee (KU). He thinks that the Prime Minister should have informed about Åsa Romson not deputy. It is a departure from previous practice, claims in January Ericson.

– In all the previous governments, as well as bourgeois socialist, so it has been a practice of the appointment of the Deputy Prime Minister is also the deputy. Deviated from this practice, one must be clear about this, so that everyone knows what comes, he says.
