At 14:30 o’clock in the afternoon alerted police and emergency services to a construction site in Årsta in south Stockholm.
A man had stuck his hand in a drilling rig and did not come loose.
First, four hours later, the man detached from the rig and taken to hospital.
– It was very difficult to dislodge him, said Lars Lindberg.
The rescue had to dismantle the whole rig to free the man.
– We took the giant gently to do as little damage as possible, says Lars Lindberg.
The man was conscious throughout the rescue. It is unclear how seriously hurt he is.
