Even a hand grenade exploded in central Malmö early in the morning.

It should have exploded just twenty meters from a newspaper, according to unconfirmed reports.

Police received several alarms about the incident at 04:40 o’clock on Sunday morning. Accommodation at Sallerupsvägen near woken by the powerful explosion.

Police have cordoned off a large area around the parking lot and the residential building. The event is classified as devastation endangering the public.
New area hit
The car park is a few steps from the municipal housing company MKB’s student residence, but according to police, the attack is a bit of a mystery.
– It is not any of the known areas where thrown earlier. It has not been thrown against a building either so it is unclear why it happened right here, says Stephan Söderholm.
