Information: Man shot in Balk – Aftonbladet

Accommodation heard the gunshots echoing in the woods.

Then, an injured man to have come stumbling into a residential area in Balk.

– The person was taken to hospital has died and we are investigating this as a murder, says Towe Hägg at Stockholm police.

According to several witness statements were shots at 22.00 o’clock on Småbjörksvägen in Balk just outside Stockholm. Witnesses tell us that three shots were heard in the forest between Rinkeby and Bromsten.

They tell us that a man had been shot in the back.

According to Aftonbladet, the injured have sought help from residents nearby who were out working in his garden. Witnesses said the wounded man should have received follow up to the neighbor who then sounded the alarm.

The person then flown away with the ambulance. At 23:00 pm the police stated that the person had died of their injuries and that the case is classified as murder.

– The person was taken to hospital has died and we are investigating this as a homicide. I can not confirm that it is a man or that the person has been shot, says Towe Hägg, police spokesperson.

Earlier in the evening, police said that initial information was that the injured should have been shot.

– It has submitted information indicating that a person has been shot but the more I can not comment. We have anträffat a person who is seriously injured, said Anders Jonsson, duty officer at 22.30 o’clock.



Seriously injured person found

During the night, police blocked a wooded area near the site where the victim was found.

– There is an area near and it can be a crime, says Towe Hägg.

During the evening, identified the injured but the police did at 01 o’clock yet not say whether it is a man or anything about the victim’s age.

On the site went last night still an intense police work. In addition to the technical investigation police searched tracks with multiple squads, dogs and helicopters in the hunt for the perpetrator.

– We talk to people and follow up on the ideas that have come in, says Towe Hägg.

According to Aftonbladet, a younger man to have been taken in for questioning in the case. But according to police, there were 01-time no suspect for the murder.

– We’ve brought in some people who need peace and that it is better to hear the station than on site, says Towe Hägg.
