Fewer police students with foreign backgrounds – Swedish Radio

Police Higher education institutions are increasingly fewer students with an immigrant background. The number has been reduced from ten to five percent.

According to the police union can be a reason for this may be that school grades have become more important in the assessment of those candidates, and interview less important.

The number of applicants with a foreign background has previously been around ten percent, but in the last two student admission has been only five per cent candidates of foreign origin, reports the Echo.
