Since early last spring, someone harassing councilor Anneli Hulthén, ordered goods in her name.
– It is time-consuming and tedious to constantly having to call around and explain the different companies that you have not ordered their products. It is enough now, says Anneli Hulthén to SVT News West.
For months, Mayor of Gothenburg received invoices for goods she had not ordered . It may subscriptions to three or four new magazines every week. But it is also true chocolate, razors, underwear and some “unpleasant” products.
Last Tuesday got Anneli Hulthén a payment reminder for a subscription of lingerie that she did not order.
– But it’s still a person with reasonably good taste. Newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, We, Land and Amelia are all those I could imagine to read if I had time to read paper magazines. But when I got the Swedish Women’s Weekly was the person anything wrong. And solve Sudoku I do not either, says the councilor.
Anneli Hulthén has so far managed to convince businesses that it is not she who ordered the goods, but to hold on to dispute invoices takes a lot of unnecessary time.
– It has become so now I can not even pick up packages that come in the mail to avoid having to send back the goods, but it’s a bit silly because sometimes there will the package you actually want!
According to Anneli Hulthén, she is not alone in having suffered harassment, but several of her colleagues have run into the same thing. But she does not want to speculate if there are political motives behind.
– Maybe it’s just an easy way to tease someone. And it is the course finally succeeded! But I wish it or those who amuse themselves with this could acquire a life and that companies could check out a little better who is ordering the products. It’s crazy how much security there is sometimes and how easy it is to do these things, says Anneli Hulthén.
Early in the spring the police she reported the harassment in the lump.
– However, Police have well have had some other things to do in Gothenburg.
