The snake was captured by the patrol and taken in a paper bag to the police station at Södermalm. There it is now awaiting to be brought to Skansen on Monday morning where they will try to find out what kind of snake it is. According to John Larsson seems not move if a poisonous snake.

– There was a kind of assessment in the night it was not very toxic, but it is unclear.

So far have not heard from the police that they lack a snake, so it is still unknown how the snake ended up on the Ring Road.

– I’ve never seen that you have raised the alarm about a this kind of event before in central Stockholm, says John Larsson.
