A young female is shot dead south of Grythyttan Örebro County, writes jaktojagare.se

Two wolves had entered into a field and killed a calf. When the owner counted the rest of the herd came wolves running inside the paddock, the paper said.

The owner tried with the help of several people keep out the wolves out of the paddock. Even when one of the people fired warning shots escaped the wolves, according to the provincial government surveyor Per Ahlqvist.

Then he shot one of the wolves, he says to the newspaper.

Ahlqvist adds that the wolf was shot in accordance with clause 28, which gives an owner the right to shoot a wolf that threatens livestock in the way that the female wolf did.
