Customs Criminal Investigation Department in Malmö called just before 11 o’clock on Friday on The rescue after discovering an unknown substance in the building. Now awaits the man police bomb group.
– There is a jar with a powder which has been seized during the searches, and this is a precaution, says Anette Malmberg of the Swedish Customs press service.
Customs Criminal Investigation Department on Main Street in Malmö during the morning, at 10.45, contacted the rescue service to the unknown powder found in the building. According to Anette Malmberg of the Swedish Customs press office as these are of a powder which is kept in a jar. The finding should have been seized in a recent raid.
– The circumstances of the search warrant did we contacted the rescue service as a security measure. No one has come in contact with the substance and not feel bad. We have not had to vacate the premises, says Anette Malmberg of the Swedish Customs press service
Staff from Emergency services are now working to identify the substance and then send it for analysis.
– We are investigating and the type the topic is. Position is static because there is no risk of spreading the substance. It is located in a jar and it is in solid form, therein included powder, says Mats Nilsson, internal officers of Rescue Service South.
Now they have summoned the police bomb team to the site.
Suspect you are at dealing with an explosive?
– Not really, but we do not know. It is the most dangerous when a substance to be analyzed. So to exclude it must police bomb group to assess whether there is an explosive substance or not, says Mats Nilsson
