The Pig Farmer Mats Schörling has got 64 pigs stolen from his farm in Vingåker.
Registration closed down immediately – but after Aftonbladet spoken with the police, the police once again watch case .
– I’m looking statements everywhere, but do not blame anyone. Everything is mysterious, says Mats Schörling Aftonbladet.
On his farm breed Mats Schörling up organic pigs. Annually begets he up some 3 000 piglets that are allowed to run freely in the pastures from being placed in the middle of May.
When they started adding up the pigs at three of the pastures before vaccination, they noticed that 64 were missing, which SVT Sörmlandsleden reported.
– Last week we noticed that 29 pigs were missing in a pasture, but thought that perhaps they could have crossed the paddock next door, but when we counted where missing 19 instead of they were too many, says Mats Schörling.
How the pigs are gone, he has no idea when the pigs are trapped with double electric fence and every day there are people in place to make sure that the feeders are filled and that the pigs is prosperous.
– I have hard to see that anyone has been here with a large truck and taken all 64 pigs at one time. It feels more like someone’s here and teddy bears little at a time, says Mats Schörling.
Have an understanding
He had therefore made a criminal complaint through the internet in which he wrote that they disappeared sometime between 20 May and 27 July. The notification came in at 19:06, but the investigation was closed down already 19:41, according to SVT.
When Aftonbladet speak with the police contact center in Nässjö that receive internet notifications, the explanation is simple that the notification was not taken seriously:
– It was just one sentence and it was about that 60 pigs had disappeared. Then it was reported that way and it was such a long period of crime in this. Then it was decided to put it down on the contact center, said investigators Pia Kling.
Mats Schörling has some understanding.
– I can feel that they absolutely do not have anything to go on and on understand that it is put on ice. But one might well think that they should have heard of him. Although there has been a police report on the internet, it is expected that they will call up and talk about it, he said.
And after Aftonbladet calls is exactly what will happen.
– I’ll take and call him and see if it might be that he has some ideas and if there is anything more we can do. We may have to ask the police in Vingåker go there and look at it, says Pia Kling.
Mats Schörling’s farm is located near the town of Vingåker and close to a highway and he has no idea who would want to steal his pigs but the theft procures a value of at least SEK 50 000, depending on how big the pigs have been.
– Had they become clear and I was able to sell them, they would have had a value of a few hundred thousand, but then I should have had more costs on them.
GW theory
Still, he has not made a declaration to the insurance company.
– No, I want to the god not be accused of insurance fraud and has been careful with it. I would first like to have an explanation for it, then you have to take things in retrospect.
He excludes any predator could have taken the pigs and now hope that tips should be able to enter.
– It may be that someone saw or just have a thought or solution to it. I myself know not what to think, but just that there are 64 pigs that are missing and that I have no explanation.
SVT has been in contact with police Professor Leif GW Persson, who also exclude predators culprits.
His most plausible explanation is that some criminals been on the go:
– It would be theft, then, if you ask me to choose one. It is of course perfectly fine to roast suckling pig. But I find it hard to believe that one can carry 60 pieces in one go. There must probably have been spread out over time, he says to SVT.
– There is a little mystery. A rural crime mystery.
