A person cared for Sus in Malmö for symptoms of Ebola, writes Expressen.

– The person contacted self care and was admitted late last night, said Jimmy Gottfridsson, press secretary of Region Skåne, Expressen. People have a fever, and the reason that it is suspected Ebola is that the person has stayed in Ebola-hit areas recently.

– It’s symptoms and exposure. But in this case it is about the lowest degree of suspicion, said Jimmy Gottfridsson. Samples were taken and sent to Stockholm for analysis. How long the person has had symptoms is unclear, and it is not yet known whether any steps will be taken to examine other people may have been infected.

– The infectious disease physician who makes the assessment, said Jimmy Gottridsson Expressen.
