Hazardous clothing sorting must be addressed – Swedish Radio

Those who help with the clothing collection at Erikshjälpen will not be able to stand on sharp objects that can be found among donated clothes.

When employees Erikshjälpen thrift stores are picking up especially clothes lodged in sacks or bags, chances are that they hurt themselves on sharp objects, and now requires Arbetsmiljöverket improved procedures.

If nothing happens, the Work Environment Authority to decide on an injunction or prohibition.
