Girl found knife killed – Aftonbladet

The seven year girl and a 36 year old man was locked in the bathroom.

When a neighbor managed to get the door open she was found dead, and he was injured.

– The man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, says Lars Bystrom at the Stockholm police.

The murder took place in Bro, north of Stockholm. The alarm came to the police at 20:02 last night.

– We have anträffat two people in an apartment, one dead and the other seriously injured, said Lars Bystrom, press officer at the Stockholm police.

Heard thuds

Police confirmed on Sunday morning that the murdered girl was seven years old. The victim is a 36 year old man, and the police said they knew each other.

– The victim and the offender is not totally unfamiliar with each other, says Lars Bystrom.

A neighbor says he heard the noise from the apartment in the evening.

– There were thuds, people were loud. It sounded like someone was moving furniture in there, it thundered around as well, says the neighbor.

Managed to get the door open

Shortly after, he heard women’s screams.

– I sensed that there was more than one woman screamed.

Shortly thereafter, he heard a woman talking loudly on the phone outside the door.

– She seemed upset, says neighbor estimates that it all lasted about half an hour.

– The next time I looked out there was a lot of police there, says the neighbor.

Sources say that a relative of the girl should have screamed outside the home if something happened in the bathroom, where the girl and the man then should have been locked up.

With the help of a neighbor, the relatives of the girl then have managed to get the door open.

Police captioned initially incident as murder and attempted murder. At the same time transferred the injured man to hospital in ambulance.

Police arrested him shortly before 23 o’clock, on suspicion of murder, and he was arrested on Sunday morning. He has not been heard by the police.

Jalal living in the area first saw how a police car drove to the location at 20 o’clock on Saturday night. She and her husband followed her.

At the residence where the murder must have taken place, she met the neighbor who reportedly alerted the police.

– The neighbor was completely heartbroken, it was horrible to see, says Jalal.

The girl’s mother should also have come to the house shortly after the police operation started.

– It was horrible, when I got home I hugged about my own children, says the witness.

During the night, police were working techniques in the cordoned off the apartment while police were questioning, both on site and at Norrorts police station. “A large number of hearings have been held,” says Lars Bystrom.
