Family has begun to be rescued from Kebnekaise – Sweden’s Radio

The family who has been stuck on the Kebnekaise has now begun to be saved, notify the police. All are safe and sound, according to Patrik Hellberg, duty officer at the police in Norrbotten.

At 18 o’clock on Monday evening alerted a man in his 40s police via cell phone and told me he was stuck on Kebnekaise west side along with three children aged 10 to 17 years.

At 20 o’clock, the police decided to initiate a mountain rescue effort.

Shortly before 01 had family located and begun to be rescued by helicopter.

All are safe and sound, according to police.
