A man in his 30s died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 42 at the height of Sollebrunn north of Alingsås. The man collided with a moose.
The accident occurred shortly after midnight in the night of Sunday.
Mc-driver collided with a moose and was transferred to North Älvsborg County Hospital, but his life could not be saved.
– It was a passerby who saw a wounded moose and parts of a motorcycle. And when we get there met with the driver a piece from there, says Joakim Hansson, deputy spokesman at the police’s Western Region.
The man’s relatives are informed.
The moose were killed.
