Boy severe damaged by the case at Liseberg – Expressen

A young boy has fallen 7-8 meters at Liseberg . He fell to the ground when he heaved himself up on a fence to wave to a Helix train.

The accident occurred at 22.30 on Saturday night.

– He was conscious and has been run by ambulance to the hospital, said Thomas Sjöstrand, park manager at Liseberg shortly after the accident occurred.

At nine o’clock on Sunday notifies the hospital that the situation of the boy is serious but stable.

The ambulance was alerted at half past ten o’clock on Saturday evening to Liseberg.

– A young person at the age of 15 has lifted over a fence to wave at a Helix train went past, said Thomas Sjöstrand is the park manager at Liseberg.

He says the boy walked across the park on a bridge where there is a protective fence. He heaved himself up so much that he flew over the fence and fell about eight meters down to the ground. The accident occurred in the upper part of the park at the old Ferris wheel.

Liseberg emergency topped two attractions, Flumeride and Helix, for security reasons. The accident was not with any of the attractions to do.

The police were alerted but never to the site.

– It has been assessed as an accident. Therefore, we have not been called to the scene, said Stefan Gustafsson, assistant duty officer at the police in the Western Region.

The boy was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg, but the hospital could during the night give no notice of the boy’s injury situation. On Sunday morning then came news.
