On 13 February the DN.se a news article about the then party leader candidate Ebba Busch Thor during a trip to Israel posed the controversial images. She appears among others in a military and in a t-shirt from the Israeli army. Even KDU-chairman Sara Skyttedal posing on the picture – she sits and sieves with a machine gun in armored vehicle.
The images were taken in connection with a study in 2009, but was, according to DN’s news management, a public interest when Ebba Busch Thor announced that she was running for leader of the KD.

The newspaper believes that the images rendered in connection with an account of a day event in copyright legal sense – Ebba Busch Thor’s candidacy as the KD-leaders – and that the legal basis for the claim thus missing.
The dispute will now be decided by the Stockholm District Court.
