He emphasizes his party affiliation and that he did not demonstrate on May Day, but he thinks that the labor movement today is still worthy of attention. His idea, that of an event while also struck Jönköpings-Posten, was drastic.

The festival celebrates the diversity of all kinds, and takes place in parallel with the traditional May Day celebrations. Parties and groups that wanted to demonstrate have been applying for permits and Green and coordinated planning.
Jönköpingsposten had booked the West Square in the city and Publisher Mats Ottosson commented initiative in a video clip on the newspaper’s website.
– When I was there last year on 1 May and felt the environment was on the West Square then and that was awful, I felt that we have to take back the city for ordinary people.
Mats Green is on the same track:
– Party of the Swedes said last year that they did not feel welcome and it was the course not. This year, they feel even less welcome and that was the idea.
