A restaurant in Uppsala was subjected during the night for the blasts. Two hand grenades were thrown in through a window and detonated in the restaurant’s wardrobe, say local media.
No one was injured, but there was property damage, including in the form of a water leak.
– The fact that it proved to be hand grenades had been able to get very devastating consequences if anyone found themselves inside the premises or in the vicinity of the building, says Christer Nordström, press spokesman at the Uppsala police, to unt.se.
According to the police is no known threat against the nightclub.
– It came as a bolt from the blue, says the restaurant’s co-owner Johan Lindh told the newspaper.
No suspects have yet been arrested for the crime, is classed as devastation endangering the public.
